This gasket helps keeping your Breville or Sage grinder clean. After using your standard grinder, you'll have noticed that it fills up with beans, ground coffee, or coffee powder, and that cleaning it is difficult and tedious. This gasket reduces the buildup of coffee in this space and extends the time until the next cleaning. It also reduces the amount of coffee that remains in the coffee maker when changing beans.
Installation is very simple and without tools:
1. Remove the coffee maker hopper by turning the inner tabs as indicated by the arrows.
2. Collect any remaining coffee grounds by hand. Remove any ground coffee or powder with a brush, like the one included with your Sage or Breville coffee maker. Finish by vacuuming to leave the area looking like new.
3. Remember to keep the metal ring in place: you can see our photos and video.
4. Place our gasket in place, with the "UP" mark facing upwards. Press lightly around the entire edge to secure it into place.
5. Replace the hopper and enjoy your coffee maker.
